President
Bill has guided Sunrise Acres since returning from a short contract position with Agriculture Canada and graduating from Guelph University in 1980.
With a young family and leadership positions in Provincial farm organizations such as Ag Care and Ontario Soybean Growers during the 1990s and early 2000s it was important that he was confident in the rest of the Sunrise team to take care of things while he was away
Janet Allison
Secretary-Treasurer
Janet has kept things organized with the unheralded paperwork that only seems to grow every year. She will also drive a tractor when needed!
Arno Weststeyn
Long term employee who actually started working on the farm in 1979 with he was 14.
With his vast amount of experience handling the fleet of farm equipment over the years it can be assured that importantly the machines are ready when it’s go time.
Perry Weststeyn
Another long term valuable asset and who’s mechanical skills come in handy when inevitably there is a breakdown.
Stacey Allison, Lesley Allison, Carole Allison
All three daughters of Bill and Janet have grown up on the farm and while moving on to their own careers still contribute when they can, especially in the information tech aspects that are becoming increasingly common in farming these days!
Wells Mcclure
Wells occasionally helps Grandad pick rocks from the fields, turning hard work into fun adventures!
